Character Creation for vampires.
Use Laws of the Night Revised for guidance, with the exception of the following.
Virtue Traits: 10 spread amongst the 3 virtues (conscious, self control, courage, etc.) with a minimum of 1 in each.
Humanity/Virtue traits: Use an equation of (Courage + Self Control + Conscious) / 4 then round up or down according to your preference for RP if you come up with a fractal number.
Lores: All vampires will begin with 1 free dot in clan lore, kindred lore, sect lore. If your clan is a traditionally "independent" clan (such as Setite, Giovanni, Gangrel etc.) you may opt to take a second dot in clan lore instead of sect lore.
Clans: Limited to Ventrue, Toreador, Nosferatu, Malkavian, Tremere, Brujah, Gangrel, Caitiff (in-clans from the open disciplines list) ... Other clans may be unlocked later with chronicle points. As you play you will gain more accessibility to clans, generation, etc. These are not so much perks for longer standing players as they are an extension of trust. When you have played in the game long enough we understand that you may want to step outside the bounds of the normal and we allow you to fully explore your roleplaying ideas, however, should any of the unlockable items in the chronicle points system be abused or used constantly just because they are available with no real thought to roleplay or character dynamic you may have those rights revoked.)
Books: This is a comprehensive list of the books that have been evaluated by the Storyteller staff and have been approved for general use by the player base. These books will generally have at least a few items that require ST approval in some way. (See Restrictions for more information)
